The ESDH Jazz Band is an extra-curricular group that meets once a week to rehearse. This group is open to all students who are enrolled in the ESDH Band Program during the 2017-2018 school year. The purpose of this group is to give students more experience playing music in a group setting, to challenge students who are looking for something more, to expose students to different genres and forms of music and to have fun! The ESDH Jazz Band performs at most concerts and some other special events. 

All students who participate in the ESDH Jazz Band will be asked to fill out a commitment form (as per all extra-curricular groups at ESDH) and will be asked to pay a few of $30.00 for year. This fee will help cover the cost of music for the group (which is not funded any other way). 

The ESDH Jazz Band is a fun opportunity for students to get involved in music beyond the classroom and to learn about teamwork and group commitment. 

First rehearsal will be Thursday, September 21st, 2017.
